Duties
The Philadelphia Zoo is seeking a motivated individual to join our Human Resources team with a focus in compensation and benefits programs. The Compensation and Benefits Administrator will participate in the planning and design of group benefits programs, as well as implementation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a BS degree and have at least three years related experience administering compensation, group benefits and retirement plans.
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and maintaining accurate, confidential and legal record keeping systems is a must! Proven administrative and organizational abilities are required.
Prior experience building and maintaining HRIS is preferred.
Other responsibilities and requirements include:
- Maintaining data on pay rates for exempt and non-exempt positions, as well as compa-ratio reports and a pay grade system.
- Coordinating with vendors including occupational health providers, insurance carriers, third party administrators, brokers etc
- Within areas of expertise, participates in department strategic and annual planning, goal setting and budgeting.
- Participates in planning and implementation of staff appreciation and recognition programs and events.
Availability
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings and holidays.
