Dodge Rare Animal Conservation Center and Impala Plaza
Dodge Rare Animal Conservation Center’s unique curved layout consists of glass enclosures that will give your guests extraordinarily clear views of the Zoo’s rarest animals. Guests can connect enjoying refreshing cocktails under our Ginkgo Biloba tree as they are enchanted by our centerpiece – the breath-taking and majestic Impala Fountain.

Reptile and Amphibian House
The Reptile and Amphibian House is a wildly exotic space for parties. Its cross-shaped design allows plenty of space for seating, food and mingling (with animals on both two and four legs). The bright lighting and fresh colors of exhibits create a warm and friendly “reptilian” atmosphere as your guests are treated to up-close viewings of some of the world’s most beautiful creatures.

Bank of America Big Cat Falls
Recently awarded the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) 2007 Exhibit of the Year Award, Bank of America Big Cat Falls is a state-of-the-art, naturalistic home to more than a dozen big cats; including bold and beautiful African lions, leopards, jaguars, pumas, snow leopards and our rare Amur tigers. This indoor/outdoor exhibit is perfect for a small cocktail hour or an intimate seated reception inside our Big Cat Falls Theater.
Capacity: Reception: 150 guests;

PECO Primate Reserve
PECO Primate Reserve’s distinctive shape resembles an abandoned logging camp converted into a conservation center for endangered primates. The floor-to-ceiling glass exhibits allow your guests to get “within inches” and connect with our primates. The mezzanine provides alternative views of visitor favorites such as our orangutans, gorillas and more.

Treehouse
The Treehouse at the Philadelphia Zoo is a breathtaking ‘Alice in Wonderland’ environment. Upon entering, your guests are welcomed by our center-piece life-sized rain forest tree. With a larger-than-life butterfly and gigantic honeycomb, we’re sure your guests will have the best event experience possible and leave feeling like a kid again.

Peacock Pavilion
This permanent party tent, centrally located on the grounds in the Zoo Garden, is perfect for larger evening gatherings. Free-roaming peacocks serve as entertainment as your guests are treated to a most elegant and special, but otherwise animal-free, location within the Zoo.

Channel 6 Zooballoon and Zooballoon Plaza
Want to impress your out-of-town guests? Want pother Philadelphia natives to experience the city like never before? Take a ride a 10-minute ride on the Channel 6 Zooballoon, Philadelphia’s premiere giant tethered passenger balloon. The Channel 6 Zooballoon will take you 400 feet in the sky for a bird’s-eye view of all the Zoo’s 42-acres, the Philadelphia skyline and surrounding vistas. Guests can enjoy cocktails in the Zooballoon Plaza with the spectacular Channel 6 Zooballoon as your backdrop. And with a completely new look coming in spring 2008, Zooballoon Plaza will make your evening event the talk of the town.

The Solitude
The Solitude is an elegant manor built in 1784 by John Penn, grandson of William Penn. The eloquent motifs throughout the house, its historical significance, distinctive architecture and unique surroundings have inspired artists, preservationists, architects, poets, historians and academics to write about is legacy and beauty. The Solitude is perfect for an intimate dinner or a corporate retreat where the 2nd floor can be utilized as ‘break-out’ rooms.

All-Zoo Rental
Extend your day visit into the evening by renting the entire Zoo for your event. Your guests can have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy every inch in our 42-acre garden while connecting to our magnificent exhibits, privately. The 4-hour rental can start as early at 5:30 p.m. (some restrictions may apply). Our outdoor exhibits including Bank of America Big Cat Falls, Children’s Zoo and the Small Mammal House close at sunset. When available the Treehouse will also be included. An All-Zoo event is a wonderful choice for corporate outings, client events, and convention groups.
Capacity: 1,500-10,000 guests
Main Path Rental
This package is perfect for the large company that is too small for an All-Zoo rental and too big for just one of our exhibits. This rental package includes all animal facilities from the Main Entrance to Bank of America Big Cat Falls (including Dodge Rare Animal Conservation Center, Reptile and Amphibian House and PECO Primate Reserve) and all of our friends hanging outside in between the exhibits. When available the Treehouse will also be included. Some restrictions may apply.
