Duties

Assist with the day-to-day operation of a zoo-based conservation and research program including performing administrative duties associated with project management and developing public awareness materials. As available, may be assigned to implement a specific project.

Requirements

This opportunity is available to college juniors, seniors and graduate students majoring in biology, zoology, environmental sciences or a related field who are interested in a career in conservation. A grade point average of 2.5 or higher, demonstrated interest in working in conservation and strong communication skills, both written and oral are required.

Availability

The internship is offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters.  This internship has been filled for Summer 2008.  Applications can be submitted for the Fall semester beginning in July.  Thank you for your interest.
