Kira, our Amur Tiger, greets visitors to Bank of America BIG CAT FALLS during the recent 2007 AZA conference held here in Philadelphia. Kira makes her home in BIG CAT FALLS with her new cubs Changbai, Koosaka, and Terney in this fantastic exhibit which just won the Exhibit of the Year Award at the conference. The Exhibit of the Year Award is presented by the AZA for outstanding dedication to conservation issues and construction of exhibit space replicating species natural habitats and the Philadelphia Zoo supports the Save the Tiger Fund and the Tigris Foundation that study tigers and fund anti-poaching patrols to protect tigers.
