THE SIFAKA BABY HAS A NAME AT LAST!
Last week, the Philadelphia Zoo asked for your help in choosing a name for its new baby Sifaka, who lives with his parents in PECO Primate Reserve. Nearly 3,400 votes were cast in only seven days, and the winner, with 1498 votes, was "
Loka" (loo-ka): a Malagasy name meaning "Prize" (which we think is just perfect on so many levels!)
Come see young Loka and his parents at PECO Primate Reserve today! Hurry, before he's all grown up!
