Join us at the Children’s Zoo to say farewell to spring with this fun filled weekend. Learn about and see the some of our animal ambassadors like armadillos, macaws, birds of prey and chinchillas during live animal talks. Get up close to our goats and sheep to pet and brush them. On Saturday, see the once yearly sheep shearing demonstrations and admire their new haircuts! Visit the many special activity tables where you can color a farm themed Monster Mural, learn about how we care for the animals in the Children’s Zoo, even learn why rats make wonderful pets! Complete your visit with a stop to Backyard Bugs to learn about our invertebrate friends and the Hatchery to see the newly hatched chicks and ducklings.
